Netflix series of the month
One Piece
Monkey D. Luffy is a young adventurer who always dreamed of a life of freedom. Leaving his village, he embarks on a perilous journey in search of a mythical treasure, the One Piece, in order to become the king of the pirates!
The series and live action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s cult manga arrives at the end of the month on the streaming service. Composed of eight episodes, this first season promises to respect the aesthetics and the epico-absurd tone of the original work. If we will wait to judge on the spot, One Piece is obviously an unmissable event for fans… and the curious. Available August 31 on Netflix.

Agent Stone
Rachel Stone is one of the most skilled agents in the CIA. And her job is everything to her. It’s so important, in fact, that she neglects her privacy and chooses solitude over friends and romance. It’s a sacrifice she made to keep the world safe. But now she’s been given the mission of her life and must try to prevent the loss of a peacekeeping organization’s most valuable — and dangerous — asset.
After Red Notice , Gal Gadot ( Wonder Woman ) returns in a new spy film, and intends to settle down permanently as a figurehead of the “actioner” made in Neflix. The story is far from being the most original, but Agent Stone ( Heart of Stone in VO) promises an intrigue with drawers in the four corners of the world and its share of visually impressive sequences. Simple and efficient. Available August 11 on Netflix.
